Sono Cafe is located inside the Tampa Museum of Art overlooking the banks of the Hillsborough River and is accessible to all visitors through an admission-free entrance. The expansive covered, outdoor terrace has tables overlooking the iconic Minarets of the University of Tampa, Curtis Hixon Park and the downtown skyline – making it Tampa’s downtown hub during the week and a key destination for weekend visitors and residents alike. Creating another art form at the Museum – Sono serves hand-crafted lunch seven days a week, a weekend brunch menu, gelato and a full coffee and tea menu. Focused on simple, creative cuisine and highlighted by food art to accompany the exhibitions – Sono features a Grilled Cheese Menu that includes a sweet dessert version! Our focus on local includes guest appearances by local chefs and entrepreneurs plus local products including TeBella Afternoon Tea and Kahwa Coffee all day long! Wine and Cocktails can be enjoyed as you stroll along the Riverwalk after taking in the art exhibit upstairs.
