The Lafayette Room. Located at the ‘point’ of Grand Central Place, it was built in the 1920s as the Lafayette Bank. We restored this space, preserving its elegant natural architecture, to create a gorgeous setting for a party. The Lafayette Room is available for receptions, cocktail parties, lunches, dinners and meetings. When reserving this room, you can enjoy the fabulous food and service of the restaurant, but the privacy and attention to detail as if you were our only guests.
The Minaret Room. Overlooking the University of Tampa and its landmark minarets, is our Minaret Room. A completely private space with French doors and windows looking into the spacious main restaurant, this is the ideal room for your luncheon, dinner for up to thirty, or small standing cocktail party. As with all of our reservations, you receive full restaurant services and the fine cuisine of Chef Blitz and crew.
The Restaurant. The whole reason we designed our restaurant with a variety of dining spaces, was so you could enjoy a room to yourself. Seated dinners and cocktail parties can be created in one of the main restaurant’s stylish semi-private rooms or the swanky cocktail lounge. If your party is grand enough – you may want to book the whole restaurant!
Your Home or Office. If you’d rather show off your office or invite your friends to experience the warmth of your home, then call Ann and let us handle every detail. Ann is an expert party planner, so along with the delicious foods from Chef Blitz, rest assure every detail is planned and perfect whether it’s a party of two or two thousand. With Mise en Place Catering you’ll never know you had a party… except for the phone calls & thank you notes from folks who had an amazing time and dining experience!
The Tampa Museum of Art. Stunning modern architecture by Stanley Saitowitz and the exterior light installation by Leo Villareal offer exquisite spaces for weddings, corporate events, and meetings. Rental spaces include the Atrium, the Sculpture Garden, the Terraces, The Lecture Rooms and Sono Café. Opportunities include reception for up to 400 people, seating dining for up to 250 people, exterior that can accommodate hundreds, and meeting rooms to accommodate small to medium-sized gatherings with a maximum capacity of 125 people. The meeting rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including modern audio/visual equipment and internet access.
